On arriving at Graz or Ljubljana airport, collect your luggage. At the arrivals gate the driver will be waiting for you. He will have a sign with your name on it. You will then be driven direct to the Reception area for the Prekmurska Vas Apartments, Terme 3000. Moravske Toplice, Slovenia. Obviously if you are making your own way to the apartment the above does not apply.
What are change-over times and what do I do on arrival / departure at the apartment ?
Change - over times are - Arrival 2pm - Departure 11am.
Inform the person at Prekmurska Vas Apartments reception that you have reserved Apartment Marjetica No 31 owned by Mr & Mrs McBride. They will be expecting you and will hand the keys to you. On departure return the keys to reception. One thing you should be aware of is that the Slovenian government charge a tourist tax which is one Euro per person per day. This is payable at the reception on departure.
At the Apartment ?
When you arrive make sure the water heater for the shower is on. The switch is on the wall at the top of the stairs outside the bathroom to the right of the door. If you dont switch it on you will be having cold showers. Brrrrr !!
Dont bother taking travel adaptor plugs with you as there are more than enough in the apartment. There is a CD player in the apartment if you want to listen to music. There is also a TV/DVD combi as well as CDs & DVDs.
Towels / Bed Linen ?
Towels and bed linen are supplied if you require more towels or bed linen ask at reception. For some reason tea towels are not supplied so if you can take a couple with you.
What is the currency of Slovenia ? ATMs ?
Slovenia adopted the Euro in January 2007 and this is the only curremcy you wil require. There is an ATM and a bank within the complex and several within the town of Murska Sobota which is approx 5 miles away.
Supermarkets ?
There is a well stocked Spar supermarket approx 5 minutes walk away which borders the complex and the village and has everything you should require. There is an Interspar hypermarket in Murska Sobota.
Eating out ?
You can use any retaurant you wish in the complex including the ones in the Hotel Termal and the Hotel Ajda. Both these hotels have their own restaurants which you can eat in. If you want something a little more special there are two a la carte restaurants one called 'The Tavena in the Hotel Termal and one which name sounds like The Jakki Restaurant in The Hotel Ajda.
In Moravske Toplice you will find a more places to eat the one I like is the Siftar which is behind the church and to the left. Portions in the village restaurants are large and excellent value for money.
There is another a la carte restaurant opened up in the village within the Hotel Vivat situated behind the Siftar, which is good as well.
If you like Chinese food there is a restaurant in Murska Sobota which again is good quality and value for money.
Tickets for bathing area ?
There are various tickets available ie single day, five day, seven day etc Family tickets are also available, obviously purchase the one that suits your needs.
If you are going to the bathing area take a towel and a pair of flip flops / pool shoes for walking around in the indoor pool area. There are lockers, showers, hairdryers etc (free of charge) in the indoor pool area. There are two or three restaurants in the bathing area as well if you fancy a snack or lunch.
